Myint Soe, born in 1953, started to study basic art from his father and from artist U Thein Aung. His Bridge and Anyeit Danner series was started to be shown in 2015, to depict how government has used bridge and Anyeint Dancer for propagation.
In 2015, some of his works representing education system in Myanmar and students protests for education reform were exhibited at Hong Kong Visual Arts Center. Most of his works in 2015 focus on changes, especially on change of education system.
In 2016, his Kyo installation about social, political, and environmental issues was shown at Nawaday Tharlar gallery.
In 2017, "Give Peace" was shown there as a charity exhibition for Kachin IDPs.
He has made three solo exhibitions of installation and six solo exhibitions of paintings. He has also participated in more than seventy group exhibitions locally and internationally: Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and US.
