Meng Rui is a graphic design and digital artist by academic qualifications but found her inspiration and passion in oil medium. These days she paints mostly in oil.

She taught at School of Arts, Renmin University of China.
 

In 2018 she participated in UOB Painting of the Year competition.
 

In 2017 she founded Hopscotch Concept Art Studio to nurture children on their creative thinking and motor skills through a series of unique and carefully designed contents.
