ARTIST'S STATEMENT:

The flora and fauna imagery which is the dress and bowl series are not taken from still life, but are studies to develop and explore possible variation in colour and line marks within the mediums of graphite, wax and acrylic on paper and in parallel giving free reign to my imagination to meander and investigate the various permutations of the same image. These images, flower, fish, birds are an integral part of the irish environment which surrounds and influences my work
